An ‘extremely compact’ wood, pellet and multi-fuel fireplace with extraordinary performance. Designed to easily adapt to the needs of modern families with little time available who do not want to waste their savings on exorbitant running costs. The Kronos has the efficiency of a stove while burning wood, and unlike a normal fireplace stove, since it is equipped with a flue gas extractor, it is able to modulate the speed of wood combustion thanks to the possibility of varying the number of revolutions of the extractor.

The innovative bottom-feed burner allows the total combustion of all types of multi-fuel fuels (wood, pellets, hazelnut and almond waste, maize pellets, washed olive pomace, etc.) within the same combustion chamber, eliminating the annoying need to insert or remove plates, baskets or anything else.
The capacious tank is connected by means of a double-stage auger plus star valve to the circular cast-iron burner. The advanced bottom-loading technology allows multiple advantages:
– no burner cleaning;
– clean, white flame and always the right amount of oxygen;
– reduction in fuel used. When the boiler goes into standby for re-ignition, it does not use any more fuel, but exploits the embers effect to restart;
– possibility of using pellets and biomasses of any type and quality. The burner equipped with a removable ring, once removed, is able to burn even more difficult fuels as the surface is larger with additional holes for combustion.
The electronic control unit with touch-screen display offers simplified use of functions with a modern design. Programming can be carried out directly “on board the machine” for convenient management in both automatic and manual mode; alternatively, it can be managed remotely by thermostat, from any room in the house, or with GSM/GPRS modem or wifi module or with dedicated App application (on request).
A perfect hybrid combination of the closed fireplace exchanger and the heating stove exchanger, both Famar patents. The fumes are conveyed into the exchanger made up of honeycomb ducts, suitably sized and such that the fumes assume a swirling motion. The fumes, forced to create vortices in order to exit, transfer their calories by forced convection to the water circulating in the cavity, obtaining a double advantage: 1) The exchanger always remains clean. The dry chamber structure of the exchanger (patented system) becomes incandescent as the smoke passes through, exceeding the lysis temperature of the unburned smoke particles by burning them further. Then the combustion deposits burn off producing additional energy that is transferred to the water and turns into easily removable ash. 2) The efficiency of the boiler remains constant over time. Since the honeycomb ducts are designed longer than those of normal Famar heating stoves, they allow a higher yield comparable to, if not higher than, that of heating stoves, whether pellets or wood are burned.
