The pellet loading tank in the Geysir 24 Green/Interior can hold approximately 48 kg of product. On request, a signal can be arranged to operate the second auger of an auxiliary fuel reserve tank. Loading into the burner takes place from above with a system that guarantees a suitable level of product in the burner to facilitate ignition, make combustion stoichiometric, and have a clean flame with a reduction in dust and carbon residues, with smoke output below 120°C even at maximum power levels.
SYSTEM OF OPERATION
The pellets are loaded into the burner from above, with ignition by means of a ceramic glow plug.
The combustion fumes, thanks to a special extractor fan, are forced to pass into the heat exchanger (Famar patent) equipped with scrapers and turbulators. In this way, the Geysir boiler is able to obtain maximum heat recovery from the flue gases, burn unburnt combustion residues, reduce the temperature of the flue gases at the outlet, and reduce fine dust and carbon residues.
Periodic cleaning of the heat exchanger is manual and combustion residues are collected in the ash drawer.
The boiler is equipped with several mechanical and electronic safety devices for maximum reliability and safety.
In the event of a domestic hot water demand (optional kit), if the boiler is at full capacity, it continues to supply both heating and rapid domestic hot water production and the system acts as a thermal flywheel; if the boiler is just switched on, all power is supplied to the domestic hot water system.
GEYSIR 24 GREEN AND INTERIOR EXCHANGER
The flue gas exchanger of the Geysir 24 Green/Interior boiler consists of 18 circular ducts of suitable cross-section and length in which structures containing turbulators and scrapers in AISI 316 stainless steel are arranged inside. The movement of these is manual, depending on the hours of use to ensure cleanliness. In addition, the presence of the turbulators, by increasing the heat exchange surfaces, guarantees a considerable heat recovery with abatement of unburnt and carbon residues, acting as an abatement cyclone.
