The ECO SV Thermocamino is currently the only wood-burning thermocamino able to synergistically exploit the three modes of heat transmission: radiation, conduction, and convection, due to the particular shape of the heat exchanger (Famar patent) capable of recovering maximum heat content in the fumes, achieving unparalleled thermal efficiencies.

The exclusivity and capacity of the ECO SV exchanger brilliantly avoid the typical problem of all water boilers using woody biomass: the deposit of combustion residues (e.g. creosote, tar, and others) on cold surfaces. The exchanger, having fins welded to the contact surface, thus fixed and not removable, makes the structure a dry chamber (patented system) that becomes incandescent when the fumes pass, exceeding the lysing temperature of the unburned smoke particles and distillates, further burning them. These combustion residues, burning, produce additional energy and turn into easily removable ash. Throughout the life of the boiler, the yield remains constant, from the first to the last day of use because no accumulation of creosote or unburned deposits occurs in the exchanger, with the advantage of being able to burn any type of wood or biomass without ever clogging.

Thanks to its particular conformation and design, the heat exchanger is heated to incandescence, exceeding the particle lysing temperature, resulting in the release of additional energy that is transferred to the water circulating in the inter-panel, lowering the temperature of the fumes exiting the flue duct, as well as acting as a reduction cyclone.”
