ECO SV

To date, the ECO SV heating fireplace represents the only wood-burning heating fireplace capable of synergistically exploiting the three modes of heat transmission: radiation, conduction, and convection, thanks to the special configuration of the exchanger (Famar Patent) capable of recovering the maximum heat contained in the flue gases, achieving unparalleled thermal efficiency.

QUALITY DETAILS

ECO SV: THE SELF-CLEANING HEATING FIREPLACE

The exclusivity and capacity of the ECO SV exchanger brilliantly avoid the typical problem of all water boilers that use woody biomass: the buildup of combustion residues (e.g., creosote, pitch, and others) on cold surfaces. Since the exchanger has fins welded onto the contact surface—making them fixed and non-removable—it turns the structure into a dry chamber (patented system) that becomes incandescent as the fumes pass through, exceeding the lysis temperature of unburnt smoke particles and distillates, further burning them. As these combustion deposits burn, they produce additional energy and transform into easily removable ash. Throughout the entire life of the boiler, the efficiency remains constant, from the first to the last day of use, because no accumulation of creosote or deposit of unburnt material occurs in the exchanger, with the advantage of being able to burn any type of wood or biomass without ever clogging.

PATENTED HEAT EXCHANGER

In the ECO SV heating fireplace, the fumes are conveyed into the heat exchanger (patented system) consisting of appropriately sized alveolar ducts. In these sections, the suctioned fumes are forced to perform vortices, exchanging energy not only through contact but also through convection (advection). Due to its particular shape and design, the exchanger heats up to incandescence, exceeding the lysis temperature of the smoke particles. This results in the release of additional energy which is transferred to the water circulating in the jacket, lowering the temperature of the fumes exiting the flue pipe, as well as acting as an abatement cyclone.

FUNCTIONAL DETAILS

Large and panoramic combustion chamber with easy access even for large pieces of wood. The vertical disappearing door is easy to clean with the possibility of lateral opening as well. An air curtain on the internal surface of the door prevents the glass from soot buildup, ensuring optimal aesthetics. Equipped with a convenient compartment for storing accessories. Heating fireplace crafted with Fe 360 pickled sheet metal and finished with anti-corrosion paints.
