GEA BURNS ANY TYPE OF VEGETABLE BIOMASS
WITH AN INNOVATIVE BOTTOM-LOADING SYSTEM
The large capacity tank is connected to the burner by
means of an auger with a double drop, separated by a
guillotine valve to prevent backfire. The advanced
bottom-loading technology provides several key
advantages:
Automatic transition from one fuel to another;
Complete elimination of burner cleaning;
A clean white flame that always maintains the correct
oxygen supply;
Reduction in fuel consumption.
When the heating stove enters stand-by mode, it does
not use additional fuel for restarts but instead
leverages the ember effect to reignite;
Ability to use pellets and biomass of any type and
quality.
GEA HEAT EXCHANGER
Designed and dimensioned with fluid dynamics
software, the heat exchanger (Famar patent)
consists of finned surfaces with multi-pass smoke
circuits. The passage of smoke into the chimney or
into the dry chamber heat exchanger occurs
automatically through the opening or closing of a
bypass valve. Specifically researched and designed
with long, narrow passages and centrally pinned fins
to ensure the overheating of the internal walls during
the passage of smoke. The incandescence of the
internal contact surfaces burns the unburned
particles carried by the smoke, transforming them
into ash which remains on the internal surfaces due
to a cyclone abatement effect. This allows for the
recovery of additional energy (higher efficiency)
which is transferred to the water.
SELF-CLEANING
The GEA heat exchanger is self-cleaning due to the
thermolytic surfaces contained within it, so only ash
and fine dust are deposited, which must be removed
only once a year for cleaning and extraordinary
maintenance.
